Scoped Rifle Fundamentals is our foundational scoped rifle training course, designed for the new precision rifle shooter looking to master marksmanship fundamentals. Scoped Rifle Fundamentals provides the perfect foundation for anyone ready to advance their long-range shooting skills.

You will leave this course confident in your ability to safely operate a scoped rifle and understand the core processes that drive accurate shooting at distance. Safety and foundational technique are paramount, and we ensure you have a complete grasp of the fundamentals before advancing to more complex topics. This scoped rifle training course is essential preparation for anyone planning to pursue precision rifle shooting, ethical hunting, or competitive long-range events. The class is offered in a small group setting.

Marksmanship fundamentals are developed through dry-fire and live-fire drills to build muscle memory and understanding. The integrated act of firing, from natural point of aim through follow-through, is the core element we focus on. Your ability to repeat the process we teach you will lead to the long-term accuracy and confidence you want to see in any shooting discipline. We don't care about short-term results. Our goal is to send you back to your community with knowledge to share and the skills to demonstrate.

  • Ballistic eye and Hearing protection (electronic, preferably)
  • Shooting mat or prone pad (optional but recommended)
  • Data/ballistic solver tool (Applied Ballistics is preferred)
  • Fluids for hydration
  • Notebook for notes
