The Gauntlet Run and Gun is Legion's take on a firearms competition under stress. This event is designed to test marksmanship, critical thinking, and physical fitness in a format that takes core skill components from traditional pistol competitions and adds new physical and mental challenges.
The stages are set up as fixed time courses of fire, think of them as circuits. The harder you work, the more opportunities to score points you will have. Here's the catch though, misses cannot be made up, so failure to hit your target and score a point will result in time spent working for no points added to the board. There is a fine balance to navigate - how hard do you exert yourself and can you control yourself when it is time to send rounds downrange.
The Gauntlet is a great way to put your pistol skills to the test under stress. It is one thing to stand in front of a piece of paper and smash the bullseye, quite another to do so two minutes into a physical stage! Additionally, you will get to meet some awesome members of the community that are supportive, resourceful, and very skilled!
